What is Vasthu?
( Spelt as Vasthu, Vaastu, Vastu )The harmony of nature (5 elements) with the surrounding ( your house or apartment ) and the inhabitants( you and your family ) resulting in happiness, good health, good fortune and that all elusive, inner peace. Let me give you an analogy, a corner of the house, the northeast is governed by water, interpreted as flowing out , now along comes this houseowner who feels that it would be good to place some furnitures at the spot. What happens is the water that is freely flowing out is now suppressed by the furniture, the water would be struggling, agitated and use every means to remove the obstacle placed above it. In the process, the agitation, frustration, unhappiness is manifested through the emotions felt by the houseowner. Remove the furniture and the free flow resumes and with it the ill feeling.
